The 2012 Porsche Cayenne GTS has been revealed ahead of the Beijing motor show later this month.
It will cost from £67,147 when it goes on sale in July, and will sit between the Cayenne S and Turbo models.
The GTS uses a 414bhp version of the 4.8-litre V8 petrol from the Cayenne S. This blasts it from 0-62mph in just 5.7 seconds – 0.2 seconds quicker than the S – while top speed is up by 2mph to 162mph. Average economy is improved from 26.9mpg to 26.4mpg.
The Cayenne GTS has a tweaked chassis to give sportier handling, with stiffer suspension and a ride height that's been dropped by 24mm.
The exterior adopts styling cues from the Turbo model, including wider wheelarches and sideskirts, a ‘twin-wing’ roof spoiler and high-gloss black trim.
The interior has bespoke leather-and-Alcantara sports front seats with eight-way adjustment, and steering wheel-mounted paddle-shifters. The GTS also comes with a sports exhaust system and Bi-xenon headlamps.
